Another taboo of our time is certainly of interreligious dialogue, now taken as the basis also of the Catholic faith. While it is clear that no one appreciates and wants to return to what were the "religious wars", however, ecumenism today is likely to eradicate our identity as Catholics to melt it in a cauldron of "universal moral maxims, but, above all, to question the necessity and the duty of evangelization as Jesus commanded: " Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned "(Mk 16: 15-16). In fact, in hindsight, the comparison between religions should be concluded with the rethinking of either party, but now everyone is on her ... what good is it then? To remain in the Christian, like pigs against Protestants? Or the Eucharist is the Real Presence of Christ or is it just a piece of bread with the Orthodox, as regards the figure of the Pope, not to mention the Jews (Jesus is God or an apostate) and still more Muslims. Without anyone to abandon their beliefs, what we talking about? A cultural exchange, perhaps, to improve human relations, all right, but, a true religious dialogue in itself is meaningless unless we put on our plate "truth" and accept the idea that we might be wrong. At one time the Church evangelized, announced the good news in the world, including the separated brethren, Jews and Muslims, certain that it was only the deposit "full" of Truth. Now a dialogue, because we can no longer say that "the one Church founded by Jesus Christ is the Catholic" unless you want to be branded a "fundamentalist." Yet if they do not, and if all religions are equal, we would wasting time. If one applies the other, together worth nothing. Truth is only one: us or mistaken, or are the others. Tertium non datur.
